18-19th of August 2009. Having signed the National Treaty on Education, AIESEC in Romania was invited to participate in the public debate upon the educational model together with President Traian Basescu, the Ministry of Education, Ecaterina Andronescu, President of Deputees Chamber, Roberta Alma Anastase, teachers, deans and representatives of Inspectorates of Education in Romania.
The 2 days event took place at the Parliament’s House in Bucharest and was meant to highlight the main challenges of the 2 proposals, get feedback from the people directly involved in the system and emphasize on the necessity of building and implementing a long term plan for Educational System in Romania.
“Being able to use our 20 years of experience in creating opportunities of development for students here in Romania, as a strong basis of the inputs offered during the debate, can only honour us and make it worthwhile. We salute the initiative of Mrs Roberta Alma Anastase, that of putting at the same table all entities involved in the system:Student Organizations , Teachers and Deans from all around the country, Representatives of Inspectorates.”, says Diana Zaharia, Vice President Communication in AIESEC in Romania.
„Romania Youth Leadership Forum” sau cea mai mare conferinta a tinerilor studenti din Romania, va avea loc toamna aceasta, la Amara, intre 25 si 29 Noiembrie. La actiune participa 400 de studenti din cele 13 centre universitare ale tarii. Se vor organiza sesiuni de training sustinute de specialisti cu renume national, dar si traineri internationali din reteaua AIESEC la nivel global: Germania, Japonia, Iordania, Serbia, Ucraina, Polonia. Cu acest prilej, tinerii din afara organizatiei au sansa sa urmareasca live aceasta conferinta pe site-ul www.aiesec.ro.
