1. Why did you become a member?

My choice of becoming a member of AIESEC Ploiesti was based on three important things: PEOPLE, INTERNATIONALISM and a total NEW ENVIRONMENT.

I was approached in the university by one girl that later became my best friend and she told the fact that if I want to apply for AIESEC I will have the chance to work in an international environment with a lot of different people in projects and I can even  become the leader of a team.

Also she started to tell me about her experience and it sound like the coolest CHALLENGE that I can face at that moment and I APPLIED.

2.   What are the changes that AIESEC brought in your life?

I don't think that exists the appropriate words that can describe the impact that AIESEC had in my life because I can only think about the people that I've met in every conference and  in projects and you cannot put GREAT people in words. They've changed me and helped me improve in each moment and they are still doing this.

AIESEC helped me to dream, but not only this also thought me how to achieve my dreamed and goals that's the most important thing that counts and I am glad that I can still say that I am a PART of AIESEC and I speak and work every day with people that are so different as nation, believes, style etc.

The change that AIESEC brought to me is that I know how to work in a team, how to deal with people, to create an action plan that will help us reach our objectives and most important i know what i want to do with my life.

1. Why did u become a member?

I joined AIESEC because I liked the concept/idea of meeting new people and working with them on projects related to my interests: sales and marketing.

2. What are the changes that AIESEC brought in your life?

AIESEC changed my life deeply. After 2 and a half years of working on over 10 projects in 4 different cities I can say that I’ve managed to create a huge network of contacts, both friends and potential business partners. Personally it helped me develop skills like leadership and public speaking and I can proudly state that at 22 years old I am running an entire organization and I have been delivering presentations to as many as 200 students at a time.

  1. 1. Why did you become a member?

When I saw the AIESEC poster, I was attracted by the opportunity if putting in practice what I learned in the University. So, I went to the interview and during the introduction trainings I discovered that the structure of AIESEC allows students to value their skills and develop themselves. I could have chosen to become a member on Talent Management and create trainings programs or develop motivational systems, similar to a HR Responsible or I could have handled budgets and write grant applications and become a Finance member. I learned that External Relations was right for me, which means I was maintaining the relationship with our Partners.

In AIESEC it was good that I could adapt to an environment similar to a corporative one and also have fun in conferences, met a lot of foreingners and unique cultures who came in Romania through the Exchange program which gives the chance of traveling and having an internship experience in companies abroad.

So, I encourage you to check it out and decide if you want to have a good impact in society through your development.

2.   What are the changes that AIESEC brought in your life?

AIESEC made me aware of my strong points and how I can use them to develop my career. I found out that I have good presentation skills and I developed my diplomacy which is good assets at my current work place. I also created a network of friends who are spread of all over the country. I conquered my fear of public speaking on many occasions when I spoke in front of dozens of people. I wish you have a great experience too.
